Mr. Trevor Hayes
MB BCh FRCS MRCOG
Trevor Hayes is a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with almost 20 years’ experience in Medicine. Mr. Hayes qualified in medicine from University College Cork in 1995. Post – Graduation he obtained accredited training on the West of Scotland Scheme and received a surgical fellowship from Edinburgh. He was a research fellow in Bath specialising in endometrial ablation. Mr Hayes is a consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and has been a Director of the Women’s Health Group since 2006. Twice named ‘Obstetrician of the Year’ by Maternity and Infant Magazine 2009 and 2013. Trevor continues to work on his specialist clinical and research interests of urogynaecology and minimal access surgery.
Mrs. Jo Scobie
MM PgDMUS DPSM RM RGN
Jo Scobie is a Registered Midwife Sonographer, with over 29 years experience of both Irish and Scottish midwifery practice. Jo earned her Master's Degree in Midwifery at Glasgow University then followed up this with a Post Graduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Ultrasound from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Jo moved back to Ireland in 2007 and now works as a Specialist Midwife Sonographer with the Women’s Health Group.
Jo is a member of British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS) and The International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG). Jo regularly attends professional ultrasound update courses in both Dublin and London.
Jo has 2 children so is in a position to offer empathy, professional and practical support to meet the needs of modern day birth and parenting.
Regina Cleere
Regina qualified from Carlow VEC having completed a beauty therapy course. Regina has previous work experience in an Auctioneers before joining the team in 2012. She has always enjoyed dealing with the public and has an interest in the medical industry.
